Ye Zhaoyan‘s lecture China: Literature of the South, previously cancelled for bad weather conditions, will be held at the Departement of Asian and North African Studies, Palazzo Vendramin dei Carmini, Sala A, at 3pm on Monday 5 November.
On Wednesday 7 November at 1.30pm the Taiwanese graphic artist Sean Chuang will talk about comics with his translator Martina Renata Prosperi (a former student of Ca’ Foscari) and Federica Passi.
During the same week, the Chinese writer Yu Hua will talk about his latest novel and Chinese literature at CFZ (Ca’ Foscari Zattere) at 5pm on Friday 9 November.
Finally, Chen Qiufan, Science-fiction writer from China, will meet students and Sci-Fi fandom at Ca’ Dolfin Aula Magna S. Trentin at 10am on Tuesday 13 November: “Red Star over Future: The Trends and tensions of Chinese SF”
